Bruno Frisoni, creative director for Roger Vivier, draws his inspiration from the heart of the Parisian Rive Gauche, home of Ecole des Beaux-Arts and femmes fatales in marabou coats or oriental turbans, with Slavic-style fur-lined boots, as worn by the late Loulou de la Falaise, queen of Bohemian chic.
For the second season, the Prismick line emerges as the cult technique of Roger Vivier. This season, Mini Prismicks emerges. Its trademark geometric découpés are seen in suede by day look and python for evening wear. This supple bag is adorned with two compartments and a central zip-pocket. With its chiseled lines and firm form Mini Prismick caresses your silhouette or nestles under your shoulder as you walk.
The flat knot that gives these new models their name was drawn directly from the Roger Vivier archives of the 60s. Bruno Frisoni uses it to adorn the edge of the décolleté of the flagship model, round-toed Papillon stiletto, with its 12cm heel softened by a 1.5cm platform (hidden in the sole), reducing the arch to 10.5cm. In a quirky twist, the Vivier knot is also seen asymmetrically poised on a demi-Dorset sole with a 5cm heel in black patent leather or adorable round-toed ballerinas in black python or suede in Bouganvillea pink or fir green.
