Gaetano Perrone draws inspiration from the lands in the south native to G. The love for colours, the taste for richness in textures and finishes, the search for new proportions, all these features come together to create desirable objects, designed for a woman who wants to feel feminine and yet strong. The proportions of the foot and the highest level of manufacturing quality make this brand unique and contemporary.
G started experiencing shoes with Antonio Berardi, who introduced him into a world of creativity where there were no limits or boundaries. Leading the shoe design department at Salvatore Ferragamo, he learned how to manage the creation of an important collection bringing some freshness and modernity into a classic product.
Dedicating the last ten years to shoes and leather goods, G has worked for many labels including Sergio Rossi, Kenzo, Iceberg, Gianvito Rossi and Christian Dior. However, his three years at Alexander McQueen setting up shoes and leather good collections worthy of the McQueen name, have been the most challenging and rewarding.
The experience acquired over the years and the knowledge of attention to details, have enabled him to design a range of very special objects one could view as art.
