Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates 75 years of presence in Old Bond Street in London, and the renovation and expansion of two flagship stores both at the Old Bond Street and Street Sloane. Designed by Vincent Harris who delivered a number of important buildings in the first half of the twentieth century, including the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall.
President Ferruccio Ferragamo and CEO Michele Norsa welcomed visitors to Old Bond Street store for cocktails and private dinner, which was quoted in a table of 61 meters in Burlington Arcade. The venue was decorated in Italian style with 10.000 Ferragamo red roses and 500 candles. It was the first time a luxury fashion house organized dinner on the porch located alongside the store and is known as one of the most charming shopping streets in Britain.
Among the guests were: Jessica Alba, Camilla Belle, Massimiliano Giornetti Creative Director of the group Salvatore Ferragamo, Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Marie Helvin, Telulah Harlech, Mary Charteris, Portia Freeman, Marc Quinn, Mat Collishaw, Tim Noble, Polly Morgan , Charlie Casely Hayford, Elizabeth Von Guttman, Annabelle Neilson and Jasmine Guinnness.
