Liam Fahy, age 27, launched his first collection last year and has already won several international design awards and countless recognition from international press. He releases his SS13 collection entitled “Congo” in London and Paris.
Each style is produced in limited edition quantities and each shoe bears his signature sole design.
His inspiration? Audrey Hepburn’s 1951 movie African Queen, 1920’s Hosiery, and leather sword belts are just some of the inspirations behind this eclectic collection.
“We have travelled quite far with this collection and are using hand printed fabrics from Tanzania, Congolese mask designs, furry pompoms from Italy and ethically produced watersnake from Cambodia” Liam
This season will see Liam expand into select stores worldwide and is set to introduce flat sandals to the collection for the first time.
