Pamela Quinzi Fall/Winter 2011

Pamela Quinzi is a Fashion Designer born and raised in Rome,Italy. Her love for shoes was shown in an early age. She studied fashion designer with a specialty in accessories and graduated in 2005 starting her carriera in Milan.

She has designed extensively at the upper echelons of the fashion industry and was responsible for the development of two collections for the iconic Fiorucci brand: Fiorucci and the Fiorucci Pin Up Collection. Ms. Quinzi was also commissioned to create an original dress for the Italian film star Asia Argento to wear on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She developed a highly regarded clothing and accessory line for Shane and a beachwear collection for Cala Di Volpe – Bain De Minuit. Also she has worked alongside the acclaimed designer Rossana Buriassi, she designed collaborations with leading luxury lines such as Armani Prive’, Dolce e Gabbana, and Fiona Swarovski. With the Massimo Bonini Showroom, she developed the woman’s shoe collection for Paolo Ferrari’s autumn and winter 2008-09 collection.

But in the summer of 2009 after visiting Nyc to do research, she felt in love of the City… “After 10 minuts in Time Square, I knew I had to live in New York!This city bring to my life so much energy every day … and inspire my work. I spent the summer in Manhattan and I returned to Italy to pack up my apartment.” … so NYC won her! She moved to Nyc and started to collaborate as designer for an American company very well known for Handbags in the Fashion world.

In 2010 she started her own Fashion Art-Collection inspired by New York Life, a touch of ‘80s referencing and Baroque allure. Unique pieces handmade, minidresses, shoes and accessories.

Her work is flirty, fun, and hip. She does research everyday, working with embroidery, lace, vintage pieces, crystals swarovki, giving to her creations a magic atmosphear…

Her ideal of woman is sexy, chic, elegant…she is a New Princess, a Pop Princess!

In april 2010 She had the opportunity to show her first collection with a Fashion Show: “New York Pop Princess” at the Greenhouse nightclubs in Manhattan, was a real success and she’s been contacted for others many events, collaborations and shows:

Recently she collaborated with the famous Italian singer Emma Marrone, from UNIVERSAL record label for Emma’s new music video filmed in New York city, director Marco Salom. Emma was wearing dress and shoes Pamela Quinzi.
