With a love and appreciation for art and shoes, Mallory Musante began Musa in order to provide the opportunity for everyone to have a unique item in their wardrobe that reflects their personal style.
After discovering hand-painted sneakers, Musante asked herself why there were no hand-painted shoes for women. Because she has painted for most of her life, Musante thought that this would be a great and exciting way to combine her love for both shoes and art.
After finishing her first pair of Musa shoes in May 2009, she received many inquiries from family and friends wanting their own pair of hand-painted shoes. She has since expanded into painting her own line of Musa Signature Looks.These looks are designed to be fashion staples in your wardrobe. She wants you to be able to wear them from work to a night out on the town or to any other occasion you may have.
